Our MMA event/music festival is going down in Los Angeles on Saturday (May 21) at the Los Angeles Sport Arena. With just one day left to go, we drop the official music video for the Cage Vs Cons anthem, performed by Shabazz The Disciple and Zodiak.
The clip is for title track, off our original soundtrack, which was released for free back in April.
Wu affiliate Shabazz The Disciple hooked up with Los Angeles rapper Zodiak for the hard-hitting "Cage Vs Cons" song, in which both MCs spit lines about MMA, the cage, and most of all, fighting.
Check out the clip, and download the soundtrack -- which features the likes of Ras Kass, Canibus, Shabazz The Disciple, Agallah, Too Short, Kool Keith, Killah Priest, The Dogg Pound, and many others -- at BandCamp.com.
If you haven't noticed by now, the Gravediggaz have been added to our line-up. Shabazz The Disciple, Killah Priest, and Frukwan are confirmed, and will be performing their classic "Diary of a Madman" track, while RZA is likely to show up onstage as well.
This is historic! You won't wanna miss it. If all four rappers are onstage, it will be the first time in 17 years since the track was performed live.
"This should be a big, historic moment for hip-hop and us, to do that song together again," Shabazz told BallerStatus.com in a recent interview.
Boxer James Toney, a former champ in four weight division (from middleweight all the way up to heavyweight), has confirmed that he'll be in the house as a special invited guest at Saturday's (May 21) Cage Vs Cons event.
Toney, who made his MMA debut at UFC 118 in August 2010, is considered a boxing legend and known for his skilled boxing style, as well as his outspoken personality.
His last fight came in February 2011, where he successfully defended his IBA Heavyweight Championship against Damon Reed.

Just Cage Vs Cons just two days away, we added a last minute addition to our line-up of Cagemates. Here is Gabriela. The San Diego-bred beauty impressed us, and we just had to make her official
Below is a little background on Gabby:
This exotic beauty all the way from San Diego, California born on November 3 1987, is quickly climbing her way to the top in the entertainment industry. At a young age, Gabriela discovered a passion for the performing arts and was involved in choir, played musical instruments, performed with the San Diego Opera and is classically trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, modern, and salsa. Like other great talents such as Mario Lopez and Charger's linebacker Donnie Edwards, Gabriela attended Chula Vista Middle and High School, School for the Creative and Performing Arts. She booked her first modeling gig while attending San Diego State University in 2005, 3 days after her18th birthday, for Playboy's College Issue. One thing most people are surprised to find out, is that Gabriela is currently serving her country in The United States Army Reserves.
Gabriela recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue her modeling and hosting career. Since moving to LA less than 1 year ago, Gabriela has already been a featured model in several music videos. She has worked with Cassidy, Xzibit, Travis Porter, Tyga, Big Sean, and Keyshia Cole among many others. She has walked in bikini runway shows in different Hollywood venues, and has become a fashion blog favorite. She soon will be writing a weekly "Video Vixen" blog for so swag magazine called Jolie Femme: The Pretty Women Series. Visit www.soswagmag.com to read more. Gabriela will also be competing next month for a 1 year contract with Knockout Promotions to be a Ring Girl, and also will be competing in The Miss Swimsuit USA Competition on May 27th. This triple threat has jumped leaps and bounds to get where she is and has no intentions of slowing down anytime soon. You will be seeing a lot more of Gabriela in the near future.

In this clip, we introduce you to convict fighter, Daniel "The Animal" McWilliams. He spent time in juvenile hall, county jail and state prison, the final stay for 14 months on a residential burglary conviction. After release in 2006, his mixed martial arts career has kept him out of trouble.

We've added two more Cagemates to our roster: Desiree and Alexa. Here they are, and below is a little more about them.
Desiree was born and raised in Southern California. Born February 19, she was the second of three children. Having an older brother to look up to, she was a tomboy when she was younger, and it never occured to her that she would later on be doing something like being a cagemate for Cage vs. Cons. Around the age of 11, her parents talked her into going to a casting call, in which was the start to her modeling career. From that point on, she had found something that she loved to do, and wanted to further pursue her career in modeling. Unfortunately, when she entered Jr. High, she stopped modeling to just focus on school. She always wanted to keep school first priority, but when she heard about Cage vs. Cons, she couldn't pass up the opportunity. Now that she is in college, she can now make more time to pursue this dream. She is looking forward to further promotions with Cage vs. Cons, and is excited for the new experiences and opportunities that come along with it.
Alexa is 20 years old, born March 27, 1991. She is Swedish, but a California girl, born and raised in San Diego.
"I have not tried any major modeling, but have always wanted to and since becoming a Hooter's Girl in January 2011, many doors for the industry have been opening. I aspire to be an actress, currently studying acting at Playhouse West in Hollywood, I am a former cheerleader of 9 years, 4 of which with California All Stars competitive cheer. I now coach a pop warner cheer team."
